The Friday Blog Hop

Happy Friday everyone! It's time for the Blog Hop!

The Friday Blog Hop is hosted by Jennifer over at Crazy for Books. Its a great idea. All you have to do is link up your blog and answer Jennifer's Crazy question of the week on your own blog. Once you've done that, hop around to the other blogs and see what their answers were. I have found so many new blogs this way.

This weeks question:  How do you spread the word about your blog? (social networking sites, Book Blog Directories, comments on other blogs...)

My answer:  I do have a twitter account, but I haven't been able to use it very much lately.  Most of my "networking" is done in the form of comments to other blogs.

Welcome Hoppers! I hope that you will take a moment to look around. Please stop and say hello. I love hearing from you.  Make sure to stop by my Happy Fall post and enter my giveaway for one pound of coffee from my favorite local roaster.  The giveaway ends October 1st at midnight mountain time.

Wow, I just have to say your blog is insanely cute! =x Love the color scheme <3 I mostly network via comments, but I think of it more as making friends than networking! :P I'm a new follower to your blog, with every intention of stopping back! :D

Happy HOP!! I hope you've had a fun week and enjoy your weekend. I also have Twitter but don't use it as much as I did. Mostly I visit blogs through the weekly memes and it's been alot of fun!

I network a lot by commenting on other blogs too... but I think an important part of that is making a personal comment, not just one of those "Hey! Hopping by! Check out my blog" comments. Those just say "Can't be bothered to read your response, but come pay attention to me!" :P
I also like to comment on book reviews (both of books I've read and of ones I want to read) because not only are they interesting, but when it comes to books I've read, reading someone else's reviews can give me details on questions I Should have been asking while I read it.

Stop by and check out my Book Blogger Hop, Follow Friday and Giveaway!

I think commenting is the best way. With back to school I've been having such a hard time keeping up with comments, and I often read but don't leave a comment, so I'm working hard to get back to that. It's just nice to have personal connection with each other.

I'm with you... I was using Twitter all the time (it was a fun to stay in contact with everyone). I try to get out there a few times a week but I seem to have lost interest...

Other than a meme here and there, I just try to visit my favorite blog list (people who read the same genres) and one in a while I jump off from another bloggers comment list.

Have a great weekend!

Thanks so much for hopping over to my blog to give me a much needed boost talk. Since I work full time I want to make sure that the time I spend blogging and making comments is worth my time spent.

Hi Teresa, it doesn't seem like a whole week has gone by! I'm on twitter but I've been too busy to make any use of it lately. School has kept me pretty busy recently....Hope you've been having a good week.

Hi Teresa thanks for stopping by earlier. I do love Maggie Sefton I have read all of her books to date and love them. Lucky you getting to meet her. I live in SC and not many authors venture down this way. I am following you now and look forward to reading what you have to say.

Thanks for hopping by. I like commenting for networking. I find twitter to be too time consuming to network but it's good to announce new reviews and giveaways.

Thanks for visiting my blog! I think comments are the best way to network -- I try not to do too many memes but I feel like you have to do some. Since I've found a lot of blogs I love, I find that checking out their blogrolls is a great way to find new blogs.

Your blog is totally adorable! I definitely agree that commenting is the way to go. It just seems like the most honest thing to me. I just started a twitter today. I'm not sure exactly how helpful it's going to be. I guess we'll see.

According to my blog statistics, my greatest source of traffic comes from twitter! I can't believe it -- but I still continue to try to be really involved with the blogs I enjoy both for the networking reasons and, well, the original purpose of my blog was connecting with other readers!
